Sadly, it is a common sight, usually the result of the cabling being done over a period of time by different companies.

This cabinet ran a 10/100 meg network on various equipment and different cabling systems.

After discussions with the client, an ITT cabling system utilising Cisco equipment was installed and patched by Reginald Maude’s staff. As with all our Structured Cabling projects, all cabling test results were supplied on CD and hardcopy along with patching schedules.

As you can see the difference was quite major and with schedules being supplied the system should stay in a tidy condition.
