HBOS plc continue to utilise Maude's as they improve and enhance their extensive voice and data networks.
Recent cabling projects include HBOS Off Shore Banking locations on the Isle of Man.
The initial work involved installing 48-way Nexans FTP LSZH Cat5e harnesses to support the on site active LAN equipment. A full site audit of the building was required to clarify the port requirements and the number of harnesses needed. Once the audit was complete a re-patching process was undertaken, which involved removing all the existing data and voice patch leads in all the data cabinets and replacing them with new coloured patch leads. The process was fully documented and the client received a full patching schedule on completion of the work.
Subsequent work required the installation of a new Cat5e LSZH cabling system to the location shown. This included fibre work, inter-cabinet links and moving the previously installed harnesses into the new location. The installation was fully tested ustilising OTDR's and Fluke DTX1800's with the results supplied to the customer on completion of the project. All the work carries a full manufacturers warranty as well as one from Reginald maude Ltd.
