University of Huddersfield Test & Inspection Case Study.....
Huddersfield University have once again awarded Maudes with a contract to undertake their electrical installation inspecting to ensure students and staff were not put at risk and to satisfy their insurance requirements.
The university campus is made up of 30 buildings all of which needed testing with minimum disruption. With the campus supporting 17,500 students on a round the clock basis this offered little opportunity to carry out the necessary testing and undertake items of urgent remedial work during term time.
Our Solution
Reginald Maude Ltd provided skilled test engineers for a period of six weeks during the summer recess to ensure that the inspections were carried out on time and in budget. The University were provided with fully bound test documentation, and for the first time they had an accurate set of up to date 'as fitted' drawings for their records.
